Who are you anyway?

We are Knottwood! We create handcrafted items and art of many shapes, sizes and varieties.

All of our items are handmade (by us) in the UK, there are no sweatshops, no purse-snatching conglomerates, no middle management and most importantly no whiff of anything dull involved!

So, if you are looking for a gift, something unique and unusual or a special item custom made just for you, take a look around. You never know what you might find... and we aren't always that sure either.

We have an Etsy Shop and we have a Blog too!

Hello!
This is our first update for a while, the new jewellery is now here as promised and we're working on some more updates, particularly to the Art and Fabric sections.

Mischief has been checking through the site for glithces and such... hopefully they have now been irradicated! But if you do discover some remaining evil gremlin, pleeease do fling an email to: Mischief@knottwood.co.uk and it shall be hunted down and destroyed!

We've totally changed the commissions section... it is now far simpler, and actually makes sence! We're also plotting an overhaul of our postal prices, not sure when it's going to happen yet... but soooon!

Finally, go look at our new shiny steampunk jewellery! Keep your eyes peeled for our next updates and fun stuff thats still to come!

Oh, and don't forget our Treasure Hunt is still going!

Here it is... The next big knottwood update!

There's all kinds of shiny new things on the site, every section has something new and never seen before!

The next amazing fact for this update is that Knottwood is currently weaseling around in Japan! ...well Jane is anyway :) and we'll have a booth at the Tokyo design festa!!! (This Sunday!) So drop by and say hello if you're nearby!

And finally some info on the next update... It's coming soon and the only hint i'll give you is that it is called Knottware! You'll just have to come back and find out what it is ;)

The new Knottwood website (in all its amazingness) is Here!

We have shiny new sections, full of shiny new things.

In Decorative you will find many of your old knottwood favorites accompanied by some new friends.

Fabric is new and has the beginnings of our clothes & accessories range, combined with a few monsters that we captured lurking around our workshop.

Mystical still has our ever popular faerie doors, but they have now been joined by many more amazing magical creatures.

Jewellery is another new section, with our original pendants and some new cuffs to adorn any wrist. (We hope to add some metals and other interesting materials to jewellery section soon.)

The Art section has been vastly expanded with many of Jane's newest works.

Curios is where everything else lives... (Like our Franken Heart). We're still expanding Curios, so keep an eye out for more curious items in the near future.

Commissions is where you go to find out how to order a bespoke item. It's quite a long page now, that explains everything you need to know about commissioning us!

All of our information pages are very much as they were before, with a little updating here and there. (See the next update for info on our Wholesale section) We have also added a new Help page for people who need a bit of assistance navigating, buying and generally using the site.

Now that the new site is up, we have also started updating our Etsy Shop regularly. We will be listing some of the items from the site, but also some that will never be featured on the website. So don't forget to check that out too! (What's Etsy?)

All this going on... and we still have time to think about our next update! We have an good idea of what it will be (More new items!) 'But WHEN!' I hear you cry... the answer is 'Sooooon!' ('Now?' ... 'no, not that soon' )

Just in case it is being confusing... it could take the search a few days to catch up too our update!

( Hello to everyone we saw at Tynemouth yesterday! )

New Items coming soon!

In the near future we should have some new items up on the site and probably some whole new sections. Fabric will will have various Bags, desk monsters, patches and things like that. We will also have some new pendants and beaded & fabric jewellery. Also our newest figures will be up on the site too, these are totally individual and won't be created again.

Finally, a note from our resident techy: The website is soon going to have a fabulous new look, layout and colour scheme. Which will hopefully make it easier for you to view & buy. So keep checking back to make sure you don't miss out on something Amazing!
